If you are in Amsterdam you should make some time to visit the only museum in the world dedicated to the microscopic world. Micropia is located in central Amsterdam on the Artis Square and is part of the Royal Zoo. The museum opened in 2014 and won the DASA award in 2016 for innovation, creativity and quality. It’s an absolutely fascinating place and will leave you in awe of our worlds microscopic flora and fauna.
